Sheffield Hallam University is committed to supporting students achieve their ambitions. However, as a university who welcomes more students from disadvantaged and under-represented groups than any other in the UK, we know that many need additional help whilst they study.

That’s why the Hallam Fund was created.

Established in 2016, the Hallam Fund relies on donations to be able to support innovative projects and learning opportunities, which benefit the student community. So far, the Fund has supported the students who need it most have access to scholarships and bursaries that help alleviate the financial pressures of pursuing higher education, transformational research solving real world problems and provided high impact opportunities that develop career and social capital.

The number of students who need support far exceeds the current financial provisions the University can provide, and donations really do make a difference to ensure students can thrive.
